Between Passover and Pentecost

Iyyar 2021 / Nisan 5781Shalom Haverim v’ Mischpochah! (Warm Greetings, friends and Family)Here in the SF Bay area, the fog is lifting, the wind is blowing and the sun is shining! We believe for the USA, Israel, and the nations:~The fog of lockdown and draconian governmental control is lifting! (Ephesians 1:22)~The wind of the Ruach, the Spirit is blowing us towards awakening (Romans 15:13)~The “Sun of Righteousness” is shining, arising with healing in His wings (Micah 4:2)We are in the midst of Sefirat Ha-Omer (the "Counting of the Omer") - a 49 day countdown that runs from Nisan 16 through Sivan 5. The first day of the Omer count began on the second day of Passover, and the last day occurs the day before Shavuot ("Pentecost").During the Temple period, on each of these days an appointed priest would wave a sheaf (omer) of barley before the LORD as a symbolic gesture of dedicating the coming harvest to Him. This ceremony was called tenufat ha-omer ("waving of the sheaf)In His earthly ministry, Yeshua appeared to many disciples during this time - between Passover and Pentecost - We believe He wants to reveal Himself in new ways to all of us during this season. On the 50th day, a sample of the first crop of the wheat harvest was baked into two loaves of leavened bread (called "Shtei Ha-Lechem," שׁתי הלחם) and waved before the altar as the climactic rite of the season (Lev. 23:15-20).How awesome is our God - we wave two loaves of bread symbolizing the pouring out of the Spirit on Jews and Gentiles together… God has his timetable for the “one new man” of Ephesians 2 to be manifest in every age. He is bundling us together to be presented to the King for a greater infilling and release of His love to this broken world. As it was for many of you, 2020 was a year of profound challenge for us. We lost friends, family, revenue, and opportunities for ministry. But through it all, God was faithful. We continued to pray and believe, study, laugh and love… and now doors are opening beyond our wildest dreams.WITH YOU, WE ARE CALLED TO SERVE SOME KEY MINISTRIES - PLEASE PRAY WITH US!~ We will be the keynote speakers at the International Conference of the Evangelical Church Alliance~The Chinese House Church has asked us to come overseas and minister to a gathering of their missionaries who serve in the ‘closed’ countries of the world, e.g., North Korea, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, et.al.~Iranian pastors have invited us to meet with them in a certain foreign land to understand the connection between the Messianic Jewish part of the Body and the prophetically fast-growing Persian church (hear more on our podcast episode with Dr. Hormoz Shariat). We have been connected to Iran for many years – below you can click below on a song I wrote for them 11 years ago when the Obama administration abandoned the Iranian people in favor of the Mullahs.~Local congregations and several US churches are inviting us as well to present Marriage Enrichment Seminars and teach on the centrality of Israel in the world Gospel movement. The only way we can “keep on keepin’ on” is through your prayers and generous partnership. We are so blessed to know that you “love what God loves” and you reach with us for souls, healing, and revelation of Yeshua, the Messiah of the Jews and the Savior of the world. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to partner with frontline ministries, including a specific watchdog group in Israel that monitors terrorist communication, a significant military chaplaincy outreach in the USA (people of faith are under attack in the US armed forces) and a group which serves the Israeli Defense Force.A song for Iran The Bride Behind the Veil - please “like’ and “share” with your friends.Revival is happening in Iran! Dr. Hormoz Shariat recently shared on To Life! Podcast about the open heaven over Iran -- the fastest growing evangelical population in the world right now, per capita! Listen here! With love and gratitude, Myles and Katharine
