A View to 2021

We will never forget the year 2020, although many of us would like to! The global pandemic presented unexpected challenges and caused all of us to adapt how we live, work, and connect with each other. When the crisis hit last winter, I stated that, “I believe this is 25% medical and 75% political… at the same time, it is 100% spiritual”My math notwithstanding, we have seen all of this come to pass. We ended the year with messages on the similarity between the Maccabees of old and the “Maccabees” of today. We take the COVID flu seriously, but we must also see that nefarious forces are selectively shutting down houses of worship and plans are afoot to further marginalize the “People of the Book” - Jews and Christians. Our Perspective for 2021!Let’s Stay Seated in Heavenly Places!Ephesians 2:4-7 But God was rich in mercy because of Hisgreat love with which He loved us. Even when we were dead in our trespasses, He made us alive together with Messiah. (By grace you have been saved!) And He raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Messiah Yeshua—to show in the olam ha-ba [the world to come] the measureless richness of His grace in kindness toward us in Messiah YeshuaYour Partnership Amplifies Our Ministry!House of Peace proclaims Yeshua to Israel and the centrality of Israel to the Church.~Thanks to you, we have increased our support this year to key life-giving ministries in Israel~Our marriage counseling is still a blessing, and we are ministering online to couples in Israel, the U.K., and all over America~You have been a part of our participation with corporate prayer meetings online to awaken America and reach for positive outcomes in the season ahead.~Your partnership has allowed us to introduce a new podcast, To Life! / The Hope Behind the Headlines" featuring interviews with ministry friends and world thought leaders.~Your generosity allowed extra donations for specific groups, e.g., the Native Americans during Thanksgiving, and Israeli widows and orphans for Chanukah / Christmas, funding a missionary to Israel, and supporting seminal Messianic works.~Your gracious reception of our book, When Heaven Hits Home, has allowed us to produce “Marriage Minutes”, that are blessing families around the world through broadcast TV and You Tube.~Many of you can meet “live” on Shabbat twice monthly. If you are far from the Bay area, you can hear those messages at mkhop.org~Thanks to your support, we have been inviting everyone into our home for online Shabbat moments. Thousands have viewed these and we receive notes of gratitude from many of you. You can connect with us on social media and see our teachings and interviews here and view our weekly ‘one-minute Torah portions” here~During this year, we have been called upon to release hope for the COVID season, as in this interview with Debra Fraser at KTLN TVI think we can expect some twists and turns on the road to Messiah’s return, but I am confident in His proclamation:Matthew 28:16-20Now the eleven disciples went to the Galilee, to the mountain Yeshua had designated. When they saw Him, they worshiped; but some wavered. And Yeshua came up to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach ha-Kodesh, teaching them to observe all I have commanded you. And remember! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
